[postfix-jp: 2203] 外部サーバからpop3に接続出来ない件について

以下の環境にて外部のサーバからメールの取得が行えないという現象が
発生しています。

Red Hat Enterprise Linux ES release 3 (Taroon)
postfix-2.0.11-4
DRAC 1.12
Qpopper 4.0.8

postfconf -n の結果は以下のとおりです。
# postconf -n

xinet.d での pop3 の設定は以下の通りです。

上記の postfix や xinet.d の設定は書籍やネットを参考に設定致しました。

現在、この構成で動かしているサーバにて pop3 に telnet を行うと

# telnet localhost pop3
Trying 127.0.0.1...
Connected to fmcp.jp (127.0.0.1).
Escape character is '^]'.
+OK Qpopper (version 4.0.9) at fmcp.jp starting.

と表示され、接続が行えます。
外部から接続を行うと

$ telnet example.jp pop3
Trying xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx...
Connected to example.jp.
Escape character is '^]'.
Connection closed by foreign host.

となり、接続を切られてしまいます。
この際、/var/log/maillog や /var/log/secure や /var/log/message に
ログは何も出力されませんでした。

tcpdump にて、このサーバの 110 番ポートを監視すると、接続を切られる
サーバからアクセスするとなにやら接続しに来ているのは見ることが出来ました。

また iptables の結果は以下の通りです。

外部からアクセス出来ない原因として何が考えられるのか御指導頂きたいと
考えまして投稿させて頂きました。
