[postfix-jp:02393] fmlでメールが送れない

はじめまして。

sendmailからpostfixに乗り換えました。
いろんな設定が簡単で快適です;-)

メールマガジン用にfmlを利用してるのですが、
postfix導入後、ｆｍｌでの配送が異常に遅くなっているように感じます。
そしてタイムアウトエラーで終了するようになってしまいました。

Diagnostic-Code: X-Postfix; Command time limit exceeded: "/usr/local/fml/fml.pl
    /var/spool/ml/xxxxxx  --ctladdr"

OS: FreeBSD3.3
MTA: postfix 2.0.2
fmlは4.0stable

MLに登録しているのは約12000人

それまで使用していたのは
sendmail 8.11.0+3.3W/3.7W
smtpfも導入していました。

50人程度のMLの場合は問題なく、むしろsendmailより早く
配送が完了します。

この問題以外の配信は問題なくできています。

なにか忘れている設定などあるでしょうか？
気が付いたことなどありましたら教えていただけないでしょうか？
