別のことを調べていて気づいたのですが、snapshot の RELEASE_NOTES に

というのがありました。まだオフィシャル版では使えないようですが、
現在の snapshot (20001005 が出ていますね)だと使えそうですね。
具体的な smtp2 transport の設定方法は本家 ML に流れていました。
